Let me just stop you there before you continue to declare that Valentine's Day is overrated. Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays. There is something special about the day that gives you butterflies in your stomach, from unexpected gifts and candlelight meals to true romance and the celebratory atmosphere. 

If you're like me, you must begin making plans for your special someone's special day far in advance. Perhaps you have no idea how to approach the situation at all. You want this year's Valentine's Day to be completely different because chocolate and roses are so overused.
